Dot Wolfe
Dot Wolfe met Dr. Fyfe at church. She was impressed with him and his family. “They have always dedicated themselves to their community, supporting those in need,” says Dot.

When Dot had ear trouble, she visited Dr. Fyfe. She was having dizziness, balance problems, ringing her ear and was miserable. Dr. Fyfe gave her exercises to do to eliminate the problem, and she felt better in just a few short months. She didn’t require surgery, which was a relief to her.

“The best part about Dr. Fyfe is that he really cares, and it shows in his work. He is very kind and really makes you believe in him,” says Dot.

Elizabeth Gates Froelich
“I have been a patient of Dr. Fyfe’s for over 12 years. He has performed five sinus surgeries on me.

I tell everyone about Dr. Fyfe because he is the best doctor, and he is funny and personable. You feel like you are visiting a friend whenever you go in.

His office staff is also very nice and ALWAYS works with me around my busy work schedule and five kids,” says Elizabeth.

Jason Baker
Jason has been treated by Dr. Fyfe since he began his practice in 20 years ago. He has been impressed with Dr. Fyfe’s knowledge and confidence.

“I have Meniere’s Disease, and it has been important to me to have a physician I can trust and relate to. Dr. Fyfe is very personable and easy to talk to. I can tell him about my concerns and know he will take care of me,” says Jason.

Dr. Fyfe has also performed sinus surgery on Jason and put tubes in his son’s ears. When his wife needed gland surgery, Dr. Fyfe was the physician they trusted to do the job. They depend on Dr. Fyfe and believe in his abilities and integrity.

Karl Rhodes
“Dr. Fyfe has really made a difference in my life. I am grateful for the care and compassion he has shown me over the past two and half years,” says Karl.

Karl had a persistent sore throat the summer of 2007. When he saw his primary care physician in Kingsland, Karl was immediately referred to Dr. Fyfe, who sees patients at Horseshoe Bay Specialty Clinic. Karl’s wife, Mary, is the Director of Community Relations for the Llano Memorial Health System, and she wanted Karl to have the best care available.

Following the examination by Dr. Fyfe, it was recommended Karl have a CT of the head and neck to investigate a suspicious lymph node. The CT was inconclusive, and a biopsy was required. Within just a couple of weeks of his first visit with Dr. Fyfe, Karl was scheduled for the biopsy and a laryngoscope. “Even though the news of a cancer diagnosis was difficult to hear, I was so grateful that Dr. Fyfe was as skilled as he was and recovery from the radical neck dissection was as quick as it was so we could begin treatment of the cancer at the base of my tongue with radiation and chemotherapy.”

Karl is doing much better and the tumor at the base of his tongue is no longer there. He still sees Dr. Fyfe and his cancer specialists every three months for follow-up. Life is much better and slowly getting back to normal.

Lynn Morris
Lynn and her family have been patients of Dr. Fyfe’s for 15 years. “It is a family affair. Dr. Fyfe treats all of us and we trust him completely,” said Lynn, mother of two daughters, ages 8 and 12.

“With each surgery he has performed, he has shown not only his technical expertise, but more importantly, his compassion. I recovered from a septoplasty without any pain and my daughters fared extremely well after their tonsillectomies and placements of ear tubes.”

The Morrises also visit Dr. Fyfe for more routine problems, such as sinus infections and earaches. “Dr. Fyfe realizes that even simple illnesses can cause a mom to worry. He takes that into account when treating my daughters. He and his staff also realize that we have busy schedules. He keeps his appointments on time and does not overbook, so he can spend as much time as needed with us,” continued Lynn. “He is by far our favorite doctor.”
